About Claire Seldon

Claire Seldon is an experienced high school Science and Technology teacher, with Montessori Adolescent qualifications. Since leaving the classroom in 2016, Claire has worked as a Learning Designer with the NSW Department of Education and as a lecturer on Learning Design at the University of Technology Sydney. In her previous roles Claire used her ICT background to create digital teaching resources for students to use in the classroom, with a focus on gamification and emerging VR/AR/MR experiences. Claire has extensive experience presenting professional learning (PL) on the use of innovative technology to create teaching resources including using VR/AR in design thinking and inquiry based projects.

About James Dwyer

James Dwyer is a teacher with a passion for robotics. He has worked for MTA for 7 years and loves to share his knowledge and excite other teachers! James is a Certified LEGO Education Teacher Trainer and has substantial experience as a facilitator of robotics workshops, from beginning to advanced. He is heavily involved in RoboCupJunior Australia competitions and has mentored numerous teams to success at the highest levels. James has a warm and engaging presentation style and his supportive approach to learning makes him a great workshop presenter.

About Julie McCann

Julie is a qualified Trainer and Assessor with over 12 years experience across both the primary and secondary school sectors. Julie has worked throughout QLD as the State Manager for Macmillan Education for a period of 5 years, training schools in both digital and print resources to enrich and support their Literacy programs. In 2016 Julie joined the MTA team and has played an integral role in launching the Wushka Literacy program into QLD schools, providing the necessary training and support to teachers. She has also had the opportunity to extend her knowledge to cover Mathematics, and has gained expertise in the ST Maths online program. Julie is an engaging, professional trainer with a patient approach. She has a sound knowledge of both the QLD curriculum and ACARA to ensure that her training is relevant and beneficial to educators. Her clear, concise training techniques coupled with the ongoing customer support she offers makes the learning experience both pleasurable and rewarding. Julie is looking forward to leading the training for Wushka, ST Math and Peekapak platforms.

About Rosemary Arnott

Rosemary is an experienced educator with a drive to help teachers. She spent 8 years teaching in both local Australian schools as well as international European schools, across both primary and secondary classrooms. Her expertise lies in the areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Foreign Languages and Personal Development and Health. Since joining the MTA team in 2020, she has thoroughly enjoyed applying her classroom insight to deliver quality, digital-platform training for Australian Educators. With both a Bachelor and Master Degree in Education, as well as qualifications in Adult Training and Assessment, Rosemary combines her warm and friendly demeanor with in-depth knowledge and understanding to train teachers across various domains. Rosemary leads training sessions for the following digital platforms: Wushka, Robotify, Merge, Peekapak and Dugga
