Wonderful natural beads for children to add that natural touch to their creations. Comes with 300 assorted beads and 4m of string. Great for everybody! The beads come as round beads, square beads and ribbed beads. Beading promotes good use of fine motor skills, concentration and creative skills. When a piece is made for a special loved one, it gives the child a lot of pride and achievement to see the piece being worn. This encourages children to continue creating and crafting. When children bead it brings a soothing effect on them, they thread the beads & choose their arrangement. Its also a great maths skill as children create patterns, for instance counting colours then switching to another colour and so on. Children don’t have to keep with the natural look, they can swap with other colours from our wooden beads range.
The beads range in size from the smallest 10mm x 10mm to the largest 15mm x 16mm. The largest square shape bead is 14mm x 14.5mm.
