Create a room filled with wonder with this beautiful reading tree. This Reading Tree is a large piece of classroom furniture provides an amazing space for reading, quiet time and reflection. The reading tree includes a curved bench seat with shelves and a foam padded bench cushion. The massive tree includes 2 rows of branches with removable, oversized leaves to create a welcoming and inspiring canopy. Some of the branches feature holes to hang decorations and projects.
This reading tree is made with a sturdy, birch plywood construction. However the reading tree MUST be secured to the wall (hardware not included) and used in a corner. The tree and bench seat must be used together and not separately.
Assembly is required by 2 people and it is best to use experienced people to assemble this item. This amazing Reading Tree Kit includes the Tree (GC550) and Bench seat (GC551). The tree and bench seat measures 222cm wide x 222cm deep x 269cm high. The bench seat itself measures 86x86x71cm. Please ensure your ceiling is at least 2.7m high.
Multiple kits can be used together to create a larger tree. If using one kit then it must be attached to a corner, if using 2 kits then it can be attached to a wall. If you use 4 kits the tree can be freestanding and gives and amazing 3D tree. This item does not include the carpet, cushions or other illustrated items. Each kit must be secured to each other. We recommend to clean this furniture with a gentle cleaner on a moist cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not saturate the furniture and we do not recommend to use bleach or harsh cleaning agents. Siqura surface sanitiser can be used to disinfect this item. This furniture is for indoor use only and assembly is required. Do not drag or pull this furniture piece. This will reduce the strength of the item and may void the warranty if misused. We always recommend to follow safe lifting procedures when moving our furniture and to regularly check that all screws and bolts are secure. Risk assessment should be undertaken to assess the risk of furniture tipping over. To help prevent furniture tip-over, anchor items (especially tall furniture) to a wall. To attach furniture to a wall you must use the correct fasteners compatible for your wall construction. Consult a specialist hardware supplier for guidance to secure your furniture. Other ways to help prevent tipping are to place heaviest objects on the bottom shelf /drawer and never let children climb or hang on the furniture. Note: Use of furniture restraints may only reduce, but not eliminate, the risk of tip-over.
