The contents of this kit may vary – for current kit components please see the tab below. Please note that the light panel includes a wall adaptor but does not include a powerbank. A suitable power bank can be purchased separately from an electrical store. If you want to use this item with mains power (240V) you can use the included KD1001 adaptor. This large wooden light panel is an amazing addition to the classroom. Place this fantastic light panel on top of a table or use on the floor for open-ended and sensory play. Excellent for STEM and STEAM activities. This light table measures 54cm wide x 101m long. It features a large, environmentally friendly LED panel that can last a total life span of up to 30,000 hours. The wooden light panel also features a timber outer frame. The wooden light panel is designed to be used with a 5V/20. A battery pack or with USB adaptor for 240V mains power (the battery pack and adaptor are not included). Please note that using this light panel with a different type of power other than what has been recommended may void the warranty. Using a power pack less than the recommended level will create a low light situation. They are excellent for encouraging exploratory play as well as for art and craft activities and STEM and STEAM project based work. Due to the large variety of different resources that can be used with a light panel, they are also excellent for children to use when learning maths, science and literacy. Children can explore line, texture, shape and colour. This light panel also provides an excellent surface for sensory play using sand and other tactile resources (we recommend to place a clear tray on top of the light panel when using messy play resources such as water, sand, glitter, paint or water).
