Children can knead and shape the soft clay using their hands to form letters, detailed sculptures, animals, insects or objects connected to classroom learning topics, encouraging both creativity and hands-on exploration. When left in the open air or at room temperature for 24 hours, the clay hardens and retains its shape without shrinking or blending, resulting in a smooth surface that can be painted in any colour once dry. Finished pieces can be displayed in the classroom, home or office, supporting childrenâs sense of pride and accomplishment. Learners can also create functional items such as bowls, plates, vases or cups, and if desired, the clay may be kiln fired under adult supervision at 1100°Câ1200°C (2012°Fâ2192°F), transforming it into porcelain suitable for porcelain painting. Once decorated, applying varnish helps protect against scratches and damage, allowing items to be gifted or kept long term.
