This complete kit includes 96 shrink film baubles in 8 assorted designs, a tub of 96 Creatistics coloured pencils and 125 metres of metallic silver yarn, everything students need to design, decorate and hang their own Christmas tree decorations. Each bauble features a sanded side for colouring with coloured pencils and a pre-punched hole for easy threading. Once baked in a standard oven, the ornaments shrink to approximately 60% of their original size, transforming into thick, durable keepsakes with rich, condensed colour, a small piece of festive magic children love to watch happen. From an educational perspective, this project delivers far more than a Christmas craft. Instructions
- Step 1 – Colour the matt side of the bauble with coloured pencils.
- Step 2 – Pre-heat oven to 150°C.
- Step 3 – Place design on a lined tray (matt side up).
- Step 4 – Bake until flat.
- Step 5 – Lightly press flat if needed.
Tips
- Use light colours (designs darken when baked).
- Do not use watercolour paint or crayon.
- Adult supervision required when using the oven.
