Excellent resource to be used as a light table with transparent and translucent objects. This light panel is tough, safe, comes with a protective cover-slip as well as a 12V mains adaptor with lead. The illuminated area measures 30 x 42cm while the overall dimension is 40 x 52 x 2.5cm. The light medium in the panel is a low voltage long life CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp) tube. It has a life of approximately 20,000 hours or 6 years at 8 hours a day, the same as a LCD TV. The light medium is non-replaceable. The unit weights 1kg.
